What to Expect!
This interactive, on-your-feet workshop brings writing genres to life through live performance. Students explore narrative, persuasive, informational, and poetry writing. By writing them and acting them out. Through roleplay, skits, and theater games, they deepen their understanding of genre features while building voice, confidence, and literacy skills.

Workshop Goals

From dramatic monologues to commercial pitches and news broadcasts, students will explore what makes each genre unique—and how to express it with both voice and pen. Ideal for grades 3–12, this workshop builds confidence in both writing and performance, helping students bring the page to the stage and back again.

• 1 class (up to 30 students): $350
• 2–3 classes (up to 60 students): $500–$650
• Full-grade/assembly (up to 100* students): $1500*
