This engaging workshop fuses English Language Arts with theater arts to help students write better by performing better. Students dive into four major writing genres—narrative, persuasive, informational, and poetry—by turning their writing into performance pieces and vice versa.
Ideal for grades 3–12, this workshop can be tailored for classrooms, libraries, afterschool programs, and youth camps.

The Black Box Intensive is a 3–4 day in-school residency where students step into the world of theater. Designed for middle and high school students, this program brings the rehearsal room into the classroom, guiding students through character creation, world-building, and performance. By the end of the intensive, students will have not only practiced essential theater skills but may also showcase their work in a final performance for peers or families.
